When we think of any famous people in the world, we think of them as being these creatures from another dimension. What makes them special is their popularity and their status that has been given to them by society.
We have the same for cars.
Look at any brand that we love and the association with that brand is something we see as magical. Ferrari is the most famous brand for this and have a huge following and a type of mystique. It is built up of very different characters and the owner of the business had such a hard ass look at the way he wanted to beat people that he did not care for the cars he built but for his passion to win in racing. He was focused on beating anyone and everyone with his cars.

Look at Ferrari as a brand today, they have to conform to specific rules with a certain race group they are participating in, Formula 1 is a sport that shows specific and astonishing feats of engineering that a normal person does not and cannot comprehend. The way the aerodynamics work as an example , how a small adjustment of a placement of a little wing can change the dynamics of the vehicle completely.
The normal racing fan, not even thinking of the normal person on the street, only appreciate the changes if the car wins as they have absolutely no idea of how much development and time is spent in building the greatest racing machine.

If you watched the latest Netflix special on Michael Schumacher, it shows you that the best team in the world, has big struggles to become the best, even the person has many "behind the scene" challenges that has to be overcome to achieve amazing success. Looking back at that now, it was even boring to watch, but the pressures that led up to their success was greater than even I imagined and that gives me more of an appreciation and respect for their achievements.
I like the GT classes , the cars are relatable to the car you see on the show room floor and have that connection with the car buyer and the race program. Then again, I am probably contradicting my statement by saying that the Ferrari FXX program is one that I can see myself want to participate in. Even owning one of those models would be an ultimate dream come true. There are no cars on the showroom floor that looks like any FXX but it is based on the 599 then the Enzo and now the La Ferrari.

The new 812 Speciale with it's V-12 producing 819 HP and revs to 9500rpm is amazing. This will probably form part of the last NA cars that will be produced. This car will be a collectors item. I would like to see them as the new FXX program as I am not sure if the SF90 with it's amazing power will be as cool as the current FXX in that form of racing. but Ferrari has been able to produce stunners that sound as good as they look.

This brings me back to the original statement. The art of becoming famous. What is the one thing that will make you famous. What makes James Bond famous? The Cars? the women? or the storyline. I think it is the allure of being a super agent appointed by the government that is able to do anything very well. He saves the world and does it successfully every time.
He has the skills necessary to make everything seem so easy.

Looking at the career of Lewis Hamilton / Ayrton Senna, they show impeccable calm when put under extreme circumstances. exactly as James Bond does, does this make them famous? No it is the ability to show resilience when most of us would have given up.
Is it really that easy? Resilience is the key to becoming famous?
Think of any of your current challenges and see if they are easy to maneuver through? Can they be overcome? I think our own minds are the ones that keep us from being successful.
My claim to fame will one day be this BLOG, where it all started. What made me do it and where will this take no one knows, but this will be something to look back on in 10 years.
Will I drive / own a Ferrari in my future only time will tell.
Enjoy the journey.
